imo creators might choose option 1 because it’s better for vanity metrics or maybe virality potential. 

But personally as a creator myself, I would also choose 2.

So it's 200 people right? 
Supposing it's an open edition, I care more about the amount of wallets minting, meaning more people minting my work...
If the creator has to choose between these two option with the same amount of people minting, why would he choose the less money option??
(Of course, if the app offers the creator some utility, like boosting or inviting on a live talk, or a subscription or sth else, the less money option starts to make a bit sense)
