How much would you pay for Google Maps, if there were no alternatives?

I’d prob do $1,000+ / month. 

And yet I get it for free and am hardly ever grateful for it.

What about google maps is significantly better for you than other navigational apps like Apple maps, Waze, etc.? Is it maybe bc you can save and bookmark locations? 

I use multiple different navigational apps for different modes of transportation / purposes so wouldn’t be willing to pay $1000+ for google maps myself

It's just "navgation of anywhere on your phone" is life changing

I remember getting so lost trying to get to random parties in high school. and also planning my days in europe with Rick Steves books.

Man it's different now. I feel instantly native in almost any city.

Ahhh that makes sense! I remember the experience when it was all just physical maps versus when gps first came out on early smartphones
