But for now, I believe trying something is happiness itself. It’s even better if you do it with people you like and trust. You know what Barney Stinson says: “It’s awesome if friends are there.” But it’s okay. Building alone is also okay. Because you realize, most people don’t believe in what you do until you make it. So life is complicated overall, as it should be. There’s no playbook to be “happy.” But I think being active and trying is happiness for me, for now. 𝙏𝙀𝙇𝙇 𝙈𝙀 𝙎𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒𝙉 𝘼𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙏 𝙔𝙊𝙐: I like to write novels. As a native Turkish speaker, all of them are in Turkish and they’re almost impossible to translate without losing their rhythm and emotional weight. If I ever feel confident enough, I want to publish them and share my mind and heart with the rest of world to show how I see things quietly, deeply, differently. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝘿𝙊 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙄𝙉 𝘼𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙊𝙉? Staying soft even after hard experiences. Resilience is common, but gentleness after pain... that’s so rare. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙑𝙄𝙍𝙏𝙐𝙀? I don’t know for sure, but maybe... not giving up. Even when I fall apart internally, I still show up for what I believe in. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙀𝘾𝙏? Details. I can get lost in small things that don’t matter in the long run but at the moment, they help me a lot. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙁𝘼𝙑𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝙃𝙊𝘽𝘽𝙔? Thinking. Sometimes walking a few kilometers. Sometimes just staring at a ceiling or watching sea for hours. But always trying to connect things that don’t seem connected at first. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙒𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙇𝙄𝙆𝙀 𝙐𝙎 𝙏𝙊 𝘼𝙎𝙆 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙎𝙀 𝙌𝙐𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎 𝙏𝙊? Someone I met recently, one of the Base creators, @redykay - curious mind and good energy.
