Would you still recommend to friends to buy Bitcoin? I used to recommend it because it is simply "the biggest crypto currency," so what can possibly go too wrong? However, now with Microstrategy looking more and more like a ponzi I'm worried that once they blow up I might regret my endorsement

Why microstrategy is a looking as a ponzi? Whould you recommend buying gold? The same hold for Bitcoin. Speculators are everywhere but the fundamentals are strong.

It’s too late in the cycle to really recommend buying anything. You should tell them to wait a year or two when Bitcoin has corrected. Buying now is likely very close to the cycle top. But yes, Bitcoin still king. MicroStrategy just needs the price to be higher every four years because of how it’s all structured

currently only recommending Circles, only thing that can go wrong is that you forget to create them lol but yes surely not Bitcoin - and also you can’t really do anything with it besides HODLing. It’s not like Ethereum the world computer that can be a substrate for stuff we can’t even imagine - it will always have value regardless. it’s a tool, not money necessarily, but can be. If people lose faith in BTC it’s cooked, it’s only backed by resource hungry machines guessing numbers - especially now governments and trad institutions are getting deeply invested it could be a big bang. BTC will be remembered as this epic blockchain that started it all, like we look back at the steam engine that kicked of the industrial revolution. anyway don’t take my advice lol I don’t know anything about finance and with coins mostly I’m wrong ;) this is just how it looks and feels to me. (I read a lot of crypto news though.)

Microstrategy is merely one of millions of entities exchanging Bitcoin. The only way they or any single entity can permanently take down all of Bitcoin would be to take a majority of validators or miners.

Personally, no. There better risk/reward investments out there imo Unfortunately though Microstrategy blowing up and having to liquidate a bunch of BTC would cause every other crypto to come tumbling down with it :(

It’s all a ponzi. And in such. Yes. I would. MSTR and Michael Sailor can be crazy And correct. At this point simply ask what would you sell it for. Why do you own it.
