The produce at normal (fka middle class) grocery stores goes bad much faster now Bought a box of organic strawberries yesterday, and a few were already covered with mold this morning Rarely happens with produce from upper class stores (eg. Whole Foods). Yet another way the growing class disparity is felt (but hidden)

always been like that in Germany Lidl and Aldi got the shit veggies, organic stores get the expensive but fresh stuff. It‘s not only how fresh. You can taste organically grow. It literally tastes fuller of nutrients
