Apple

Using Raycast has me thinking. Apple should just buy (or clone) this, rebrand it to their aesthetic (under whatever name they want), and combine Siri/Apple Intelligence, Shortcuts, Spotlight, emoji picker, window management, force quit, etc, all into this one, way more powerful product.

I was so skeptical about Raycast having used Alfred in the early days. But finally getting set up, and finding a set of uses has changed my entire perspective. 

The way I can toggle settings rather than opening them.

The window management shortcuts.

The ability to search the menu bar items of open apps without having to open the help tab. 

The way it searches my Proton Drive while Spotlight can’t.

And all the extensions I’ve barely tapped into.

Years of Quicksilver, then Launchbar for me

Raycast has so many things it can do I had to play an informal 1-trick-a-week game last year to build a new neural net without blowing a fuse 🧠 

Should be a way to share our key venns* and add others to your own 🤝
