Hasan is taking a lot of heat for this dog shocking fiasco. Idk why he's lying about the whole thing. He obviously got caught so he should apologize and rectify this.

I just tried to catch up on this but I can’t see any reason to believe there’s a shock collar. Pics don’t look like it, dog doesn’t look like it’s been shocked. It just let out a yelp and then laid back down. Do you have a good source confirming there was a shock collar? I agree he could probably lay it to rest by showing the collar up close to the camera but beyond that it seems like complete hearsay.

It was pretty easy to find a number of similar looking AirTag collars. I couldn’t find a shock collar that looked similar. Shock collars from what I can see don’t tend to look like this, usually having a larger protruding black module.

In closing, if he’s being shitty to his dog, I support backlash from animal lovers. Especially if they’re ideologically consistent and also opposed to violence and abuse of humans. 

I hope this is not true, but won’t terribly be surprised if it is, though think the evidence is pretty scant. Legally speaking, I don’t think there’s any crime to speak of here so aside from using social power to make him stop using these devices, I see now other useful outcome. As for whether this somehow discredits his other points, no, not at all.

Yeah that’s also not good. Look I’m not really trying to defend Hasan here. But I think more likely than not, this is an example of opportunistic piling on by people who benefit from Hasan losing cultural status. 

The fact that r/asmongold and r/h3h3productions are the top sources of Reddit discussion on the topic says a lot.

There's also a recent stream where he had a guest on and she notes that the collar is too tight as she can't even get a single finger under it and typically 2 fingers is the norm.

If you watch you can see him reach under the desk right before it happens. He has admitted before that he owns a shock collar for his dog.  Not saying this photo is necessarily a shock collar but it could be. The dog doesn't leave the bed in the whole 4.5 hours or whatever that he is on stream. Seems pretty odd for a young dog to not move around at all unless it has been trained to sit there on camera.

The reaching this is hardest sell of the whole argument. That said, if he has admitted to using shock collars in the past that would be enough for me to believe it. I’ve watched Hassan streams lots, enough that I’m sick of them and barely watch anymore. The dog gets up and leaves the room and makes noise all the time.
