Raycast CEO's response to new spotlight features. Nervous, but confident about their differentiation. In my mind there are three approaches for Raycast. 1) Be acquired by Apple. The team of brilliant developers could do for Apple what it clearly cannot do for itself. 2) Go multiplatform. Become the best option for Windows and Linux as well as Mac, and even android with easy profiles that sync across all of them. Not sure what profitability looks like here. 3) Be purchased by Notion and added into their weird vision for a custom operating system they seem to be building. I would not recommend this as Notion ruins everything they touch, but it's reasonable to assume this could happen.
