November, at which point disgraced former Democrat governor Andrew Cuomo, may still run, alonside disgraced current NYC Democrat mayor, Eric Adams, both as independents, against Mamdani and Republican candidate Curtis Silwa.

This is a big win in terms of signalling. But, there's still plenty of time for the corrup, bullshit Democratic Party to fuck everything up, like they always do, and lose what should be a total layup to Republicans. My actual worry is that they quiety help Cuomo win as an independent.

Leftist candidate won the Dem primary then the old Dem mayor ran as a independent and beat her cause a bunch of GOP voted for him. Same situation as what you are warning about.
