assume a person has a maximum attention span of X minutes, thief has always wondered if setting a youtube video at 1.10x (or something marginally faster) is a cheatcode to cram more content within X mins

i think it depends on the content. if it's conversational, a bit predictable or even redundant, then speeding it up can totally be a cheatcode cus you end up fitting more into the same focus window. but if it's dense, conceptual or already fast-paced, then speeding up can reduce comprehension. i have a long attention span and often use 1.5x/2x but for certain things normal speed is just better. wdyt?
