The produce at normal (fka middle class) grocery stores goes bad much faster now Bought a box of organic strawberries yesterday, and a few were already covered with mold this morning Rarely happens with produce from upper class stores (eg. Whole Foods). Yet another way the growing class disparity is felt (but hidden)

i love TJs but if you're shopping at TJ's for produce, their produce has always been at best inconsistent and at worst bad (except for bananas). unfort many theories and guides written on this for the past few years.
