Dragonfruit is all bark and no bite. 

Beautiful looking fruit, intense name, and relatively popular… but it has almost no taste or texture to it!

It’s slightly sweet but the best tasting variety is the red fleshed ones, a lot more sweeter. The ones in Asia is super sweet , I tried the ones grown in America is unfortunately not as sweet. But still a very nutritious fruit though.

Delicious fruit. My mom buys these all the time. Persimmons are also great and have a nice crunch.

I thought it would taste like a kiwi and gave it a go. Was very disappointed 😞

I think it’s because it is often picked prematurely for aesthetics vs flavor

The key is to peel it into a big refreshing soft kiwi orb.

Also, the purple ones are more flavorful.
