eh maybe but I also feel like people are blown away by cheap gas on "Ethereum". Polygon has existed for a while and is EVM compatible but Ethereum L2s feel different than side chains

It’s a hype train. Polygon PoS was great for daily transactions.

agree. USDC on Polygon is great. Coinbase still invests in that -- just launched gasless USDC sends on Polygon not that long ago. NFTs on Polygon not that great, lots of spammy airdrops and general junk that ends up in wallets
