Nola and I are dreaming about another big road trip this year—but we’re boycotting the U.S. Where should we explore in Canada? Looking for suggestions, hidden gems, and scenic detours. Bonus points for dog-friendly adventures. 🐾

We did the same last spring! Willow loved it. Itching to do another big road trip later this summer.

Last year Nola and I drove to California and back twice and had such a great time. I hear the driving through the Prairies is pretty boring because it’s so flat. Sill would consider it though.

Alberta and BC were fairly dog friendly! Moreso than Ontario. The Rockies are insanely gorgeous. But we haven't done the drive there without cutting through the US, kinda scared lol.

I visited PEI when I was in grade school. I remember Cows ice cream and Anne of green gables. Would be cool to go back as an adult. And I just looked up Gaspesie and it looks beautiful. Nola loves being in nature.

PEI is incredible.  It’s quite small but has such a distinct culture and beautiful roads.

Also Gaspésie has some amazing routes and nature.
