One thing I'm scared of when I get older is not having many friends. So throughout my life I've always tried to make new friends, and on average, I make 1-2 new close friends a year.

I have a theory that most people lose friends at a specific rate. And in order to offset this, I have to make new friends. So I almost always say yes to things involving meeting new people!

I think about this too. I never say no to a weird invite or a good conversation. That’s where the future friends hide.
