Thanks for writing this. I've been curious to try Zed. I haven't since I've been relatively happy with VSCode and now Cursor. They can struggle a bit especially with large files so maybe Zed will handle them better.

This is great! I've heard good things about Zed. This is yet another drop in that bucket. Currently, I'm still on VSCode because the Windows+WSL2 integration is top-notch. But we'll see... ;-)

Looks like we have quite similar setup: no tabs, full-screen terminal, and leader-based bindings. I shamelessly copy-pasted all your config. I'm getting a bit tired of constant configuration and tweaking. Just today I spent ~30m on making nvim work with both tsc and deno LSP work together. I too had a performance issues with very large projects. I'm giving Zed a spin for next week :)
