How are y'all using @farcaster differently than Twitter? What has been your biggest learning since joining?

content on here is much higher signal and context than Twitter due to the way it’s been rolled out Also the meta of the early users discussing the data / extensibility is amazing to observe

Refreshing to be rid of all the engagement farming posts. This feels like Twitter did back in the day.

Other than needing to use it on my ipad instead of my phone (pixel) or pc (pc)… 🦆… I feel more excited to share my input here. Like maybe people care more since we’re here. (Then again, maybe not).

High signal to noise atm. Very strategically designed for that. Will be interesting to see how @dwr.eth and @v look to scale without losing the signal > noise differentiator fostered by today’s relatively small, high quality community.

it's less cynical. you can be optimistic, vulnerable, thoughtful in a way that isn't received well on twitter

Not having an inbox full of drones but actually having stimulating conversations with real humans. And to top it off: having an inbox full of humans reaching out.

I use twitter primarily as a real time news/raw data feed on key topics - I create lists on various topics - like Ukraine - and find I get a more comprehensive view of key issues that way… use it similarly for key learning on a topic

Using exactly the same. But the quality of conversations & people much prefer here, entices me to engage more. Hope to see this quality and small community feel persist as it grows.

High signal to noise. It's fun to jump in on open source GitHub Farcaster projects and just start sending PRs.

More people less news. Hope @dwr.eth & co make the distinction in the protocol between people and companies as they grow. Something I suggested for twitter 7 years ago https://twitter.com/arjunram/status/638892114399625216?s=46&t=szjGCgn9NXBnvQWb5nJ8Sg
