Targeted marketing campaigns via tokens are a better deal for users than traditional ads and potentially a great revenue source for farcaster (the app) But it feels misleading to call this marketing product the same thing as a TGE distribution that aims to decentralize ownership of a protocol

It is probably the most appropriate name given the difference is quite nuanced but there is a conflict of expectations between users, apps, and the market maker here

Not sure if you're referring to the Farcaster airdrop offer but definitely haven't ever used the term TGE distribution or referred to this as a means for decentralizing ownership
