What's the social norm on re-launching tokens?

Seeing a bunch of Solana tokens copied over here - some adapted, some not. If a token virtually dies, is there a time when it's ok to relaunch?

On Solana there’s no “grace period”, it’s dog eat dog. But here we have more accountability so it feels different. CTO could work but the creator still gets the fee share. I think it’s case by case.
