Dogs

Lada update:

- we did the CT scan + biopsy last week. Had to be done under general anaesthesia, Lada was a champ 💜 

- the biopsy results came back inconclusive 

- CT scan showed that the tumor is quite invasive and our current doctor said that their clinic is not equipped for a surgery of this kind 😔

- already looking for a new oncologist + clinic, hopefully it would be the one where we did the CT scan.

Managed to f up in the process: 
- paid $50 for an online consultation with an oncologist (she's kinda renowned). The secretary told me she would call me on the phone herself in between appointments. And I missed that call 💀💀💀

Lada update:

- online consultation with the oncologist went fine.  We have the final verdict - the tumor is inoperable, but perhaps it can be managed with chemotherapy to not spread any further 😔

- chemotherapy is going to be in pills, which is great, and it's the targeting kind so not too harsh on the rest of the body. 

- I've looked up the price of those pills and apparently crowdfunding money is going to come in handy because it's rounding up to $200/month. So with $1k left of it it's going to last us 5 months, yay! I'm sending gratitude to @bertwurst.eth and everyone who donated on the daily 🙏💔

Judging from her behaviour her condition is quite stable, but who knows what's going on inside with the tumor 😣 

Thankfully she's a very strong dog, but maybe that's why she doesn't really show the discomfort she must be feeling. Can't wait to get all the prescribed medicine on Monday so I can be sure I'm helping her in the best way 🙏
