I've been journaling first thing (after making coffee 😁) every morning. I read the entry from the day before and look for key threads, then write the new entry. It's my way of slowly reprogramming my brain, looking for bugs in my code, and trying to update it. What do you do first thing in the morning?

Me too! I'm trying to prioritize my most important tasks in the morning, because that is when I am most present (and caffeinated ☕☕☕)

I’m a writer and an editor. I love art, literature, music, and to drink good coffee. I practice Ashtanga yoga. I’m here to connect and learn. 

I usually do some silent meditation, just focusing a bit in the breath and let the thoughts go. If I’m too distracted, then I look for a guided one. But in general, I prefer the silent ones.

Nice! Meditation is a favorite of mine as well. Got to exercise the mind just like the body. What form of meditation do you do?

Actually, i do have. 🤔 I’ve just stopped while on vacation. I might resume it soon. I meditate 10 to 15 minutes first thing in the morning.

Lol I'm familiar with this mantra and flow. For me, it turns out, trying to fight depression with a depressant wasn't a good idea. But that didn't stop me from spending many years trying to make it work 🤣
