Today's intellectual masochism inspired reading is Baudrillard's Simulacra and Simulation because I'm finally settling in to do a literature review for a personal portfolio essay I've been kicking around my mind for awhile now - The Personhood of Kermit: Towards a Metaphysics of Hyperreality.

The whole concept got its seeds in the work I did in a semester of Anthropology of Religion where my study for the semester was on Jediism.
