Just found out Gemini let's you give it a system prompt if you want. A middle ground between Claude's blank slate and Chat's total memory. I think we just hashed out a sweet prompt, Gemini about to take a swim in the Basin!

It's not called a system prompt, but in the settings menu on a laptop you can find it as 'saved info', or if you tell it to remember something it will and that is where you can find it and edit it.

Good too know!  I haven't used Gemini a lot - except through NotebookLM, which I LOVE as a research launchpad (or resting place for ideas that didn't catch).  I do like using multiple models to see how they respond to the same prompts, so having that middle ground between Claude and ChatGPT's approaches is gonna be nice!  Blank slate is nice for some things, not so much for others, but sometimes, ChatGPT is TOO much of a mirror of my own writing because I've used it so much.
