Same goes for most stuff. Shame it can be easily under appreciated but 💯 still worth the time for the clarity.

I feel too comfortable and let the stream of consciousness pour. I try to validate it by thinking of it as 'thoughtful', but I know it's a crutch.

I can relate. 

But also, it can be a big ask of yourself to hold the high brevity standard. Plenty of times I’ve spent too long on a thoughtfully short something when that time would be better spent elsewhere. 

I do admire folks who can shoot emotively from the hip, even if it’s a bit wordier than I’d like.
