We put this on last night for the holiday, expecting it to be so bad it's good, and were totally surprised. Movie is good, like actually good. Cheesiness is minimal, effects are somewhat impressive, acting is more than fine, and the subject matter of patriotism vs heroism is handled with surprising finesse. We just watched it last night and loved it. Definitely not a normal comedy, tho. Anyone who doesn't like it is totally valid. It's nothing like an ITYSL skit beyond how it cultivates cringe. We found it to be a very entertaining dramedy and satire of bro movies like Fight Club, Office Space, The Hangover, etc.

Video isn't my favorite thing and I'll never make videos myself, but the push for video on the purple app makes sense for the sake of user growth. But I do hope we'll always have plenty of cozy corners for the word nerds who'd rather have a feed full of long-form text than video.

Money isn't real, regardless. We're all just trying to collect what we think we'll be able to trade for quality of life later. But blockchain is real and solved the Byzantine General's problem. Even if folks don't like it for finance, it's useful for anything that utilizes ledgers.
