coinbase freezing/restricting accounts issue seems like a legit PR problem

it probably only happens to a tiny minority but the minority is vocal enough that people desire to switch. i've never had issues but feel a latent worry that the next time i offramp will be when i get cooked

big agree, fixing this was one of the reasons I applied to a few CB positions

Most of our retail customers come from this issue. We probably onboarded 200 people who cited this as the reason for signing up just in q4. I can tell you it’s far more rampant than you might think.

They froze my account after harassment like six times over KYC and a dozen different threats wanting to know where I was sending Bitcoin.

where else can people switch to? In the US it seems like coinbase is still the best option.

IMO it’s because of their shit tier support. You know as a pleb you are ratfucked if your number is up
