think trump is the one that violently shifted overton’s window. everyone that comes next will operate within that realm. so while i dont expect another window shiftoor, operating under a trump anchor vs a obama/clinton/bush anchor allows for even more chaos than that of trump imo.

at the same time, trump feels like a one-off on the right's version of populism, i don't know who else who could replicate his strat

Mamdani dominated because he had TikTok style friendly content that people are used to seeing

Nothing beats the “that guy seems nice” feeling for voters imo — I expect donors to funnel $ into similar content in the future after seeing the W
