isn’t it kinda the same tho? idk how fc the app is inherently resistant to the same algoslop incentives apart from giving users a clearer exit path towards other clients if needed

it’s the biz model that drives the incentives, not the medium itself. if adARPU < newThingARPU and scales, everything changes. you can absolutely have an algo that is anti slop if your north star doesn’t value all attention the same.

it’s the same but it has a meaningful nuance we’ve not seen manifest beyond theory yet (outside of ui versions of warpcast) ppl think of social graph and associate openness with it fine but limiting in this context. you want the social graph so that you can be private with it i’m theorizing also think about consumer loyalty & rewards + programmable identity
