i'm logging off farcaster for the time being as it is quite literally impossible to use on my pixel 8a with graphene os

heats up my phone, eats battery like there's no tomorrow, videos are still unusable

every interaction is pain and i don't like pain

it's actually faster than ios from my tests in dec 2024

will test again with the new iphone and ios (i do it every year and every year end up sticking to android)

i've given up on ios a long time ago, but i haven't taken the graphene leap yet -- mostly blocked by needing phone payments/banking for my day to day

maybe i should get a payments-enabled watch just for this reason! will ponder on it

i actually never had any issues with banking apps on my phone — and i got fitbit with fitbit pay for the cards :) my nfc is always off on my phone which is a plus
