i'm logging off farcaster for the time being as it is quite literally impossible to use on my pixel 8a with graphene os heats up my phone, eats battery like there's no tomorrow, videos are still unusable every interaction is pain and i don't like pain please fix, i'll come back then!

have you had trouble with other apps on graphene os? asking because we tested on a pixel 6a and its fine, and other users with much lower end devices dont have problems that are as acute

It also eats lots of bandwidth. I noticed that when roaming with an eSIM, checked the usage, and Farcaster was #2.

That's likely a problem with grapheneOS and it's sandboxing/ security settings. You could probably change some settings on your phone but then again you would lose some security.
