That's great Shaw but if you could please fix the dozens of ux bugs that have completely broken the 1.0.9 release that would be pretty rad 😄

I'm joking but seriously please stabilize that core for a bit, seems like every week I need to wipe everything and work through a whole new set of bugs.

Environment variables not getting picked up for API keys, the config gear disappeared from the agent display so you can't configure individual agents except from the sidebar when they're running, and those configs don't stick 😅

The new agent templates are a great idea, but missing plugins like bootstrap etc, so they're non-functional, and can't be fixed due to those other UX bugs.

I vented in the discord a couple days ago so I think those issues are all known/logged and getting worked on. I love swimming in chaotic torrents of new code, which is why I love ElizaOS in general, but it sure would be nice if the super basic stuff worked the way it's supposed to 😄

I hear ya. Next big update will have test coverage across everything, a lot of CLI fixes, some new UI windows for prompt observability. API is finally settled after huge changes so it should be much better from here on out.

what bugs are you seeing in 1.0.9?

it's like all this is "cool".. but what the fk does it even do? is it just like another chatgpt? what would incentivize me to learn to use your product over everything else
