Thanks for #6 this week, y’all.
Half my rewards are going straight to my Lord and Savior, the Game God known as @ruburi.
I know we joke about Pet Rock Life, but I’m 100% serious when I say it’s one of the most special things on Farcaster right now.
This week I’ve had so many genuine moments of connection. Sometimes sitting on rocks, sometimes getting sat on, but always feeling just a little closer to my url friends.
Not only is the app itself delightful and weird and oddly soothing, but the conversations inside have been incredible. People sharing ideas, cheering each other on, and @ruburi somehow absorbing it all and then turning around and building it even better and more intentional.
It’s community at its purest and silliest.
And yeah, like some other people I won’t name (*cough @newtp cough*), they’re wildly allergic to monetization.
Which I deeply respect. And also find mildly inconvenient.
So this is me paying it forward anyway.
Long live Pet Rock Life.
Long live Farcaster.
Long live the extremely online friendships that form in between.
