Yesterday I was challenged…did I have Evangelion socks? Absolutely. These are a Hakone (famous hot spring area and National Park in /japan) exclusive collaboration item and they are tabi socks! How could I not buy them!!!!?? I missed most of the activations due to covid (boo) but some are permanent and still on display if you visit! In Neon Genesis Evangelion, the fictional city Tokyo‑3 is modeled after real-world Hakone, including areas like Lake Ashi, Ōwakudani Valley, the Hakone Ropeway, and Hakone‑Yumoto Station (where I bought these socks!) #SummerOfSocks
