I have been using @moonwelldefi for quite some time now. I learned to leverage against my crypto, and grow my bags utilizing assets like $AERO $WELL $VIRTUAL $MORPHO Today I watched all my assets that I leverage from absolutely get rekt'd. With almost no warning @aerodrome dropped about 25% in 5 minutes. and had gone down nearly 50% in less than 24 hours. These other assets have done the same thing. From thousands upon thousands of tokens. I watched being liquidated, not once, not twice, not three times but four times. There was nothing I could do but yell at my computer screen. Never ever have I ever been in a situation like this. Most people will say the same things about being careful etc. I know crypto is very volatile, and I feel the best way to learn something is to lose real money, which I have when I was first learning to leverage my crypto over a year ago. However, looking at how these assets dropped, no dumped. Shows me that this was more than just China tariffs, and Trump being Trump, but this was planned manipulation. If people are that scared of the market, why would they all start buying back in all around the same time. Look at the last few American holiday weekends. Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus/Indigenous People Day The markets all went down drastically. I know this because I would watch my assets that I leveraged very closely around these times to make sure they didn't drop far enough to liquidate. This is definitely the worse yet. Most of you don't know my story, and I have mentioned little bits of it. I left my job back in Feb and lived off of crypto. This cycle was the cycle to allow me to gain the financial freedom and allow me to learn more about developing in the crypto world. I am working on launching a couple of tokens, and even an AI project. I have some NFT art projects I am working on, and I wanted to launch an Urban Street wear brand, even with some items reflecting my appreciation for crypto. Utilizing some of my skills to make little things to grow awareness of who I am, and what I have been working on has proven somewhat difficult since I joined a lot of these platforms Farcaster, Zora, X without knowing a single soul. I have always been good at growing and sustaining amazing communities, where I have helped people with their health, fasting, starting businesses, as well as helping existing businesses grow. I have worked with surf and skate brands and been involved in the counter-culture music scene and have had tons of success; so, I figured that this would just be another mountain I could climb. However, this market dip did more damage than I could ever have thought possible. I watched at my computer as I liquidated 4 times in 20 minutes, thousands upon thousands of dollars lost, and nothing I could do about it. This has been the worst thing that I have ever experienced in life, and I would never wish this on anyone. Be aware everyone this is not your typical cycle, this is similar to another post I wrote a few months back similar to the gold rush of (specifically) 1849, where institutions and the government got involved and now hold majority of the gold to this day. Same thing is happening with this cycle, institutions are growing their bag, and the decentralized world is becoming less decentralized. Watch closely what you are doing and have conviction in everything that you buy or sell. I did and even with losing like a said thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars in 20 minutes, I believe in what I was doing and I believe in leveraging to this day. As for me, what is next? I don't know. I have no idea what to do at this point. I am at a massive loss, and I need to figure out what to do next.
