whoever you are, if you got the privilege to read this, exercise and put it into action - learn to communicate with people you hold closest or mean something to you (families, lover(s) or an internet stranger like me😊) 

i had an encounter yesterday that altered my perspective about people in general. the person hurting you may not even know they are hurting you, and this is the bitter truth. you’re literally there thinking they are doing it on purpose, but i can tell you — most of the time, they are not, unless it’s been established that they’re doing it on purpose. it’s just people being people 

there’s an entire back story but yeah, whatever. point is, communicate. don’t harbor resentment in your heart
