the more time you spend offline, the more you realize how dependent you are on a digital persona to define your identity

I’ve found the opposite to be true. The more time I spend with family and friends, the less seneca is relevant/necessary. Further: if it weren’t for a more an orderly IRL me, career me would prob still be in a recurring series of extremely volatile highs and lows. IRL = my guardrails.

Reading this explains my own life to me a little and probably why I’m looking to build some better guardrails in IRL
