Since Spam labels are now public, Iāve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that donāt get labeled and this is my initial advice for people whoāve been labeled. 1. STOP sharing frames. If you didnāt build it, donāt share it. 2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared? 3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Donāt steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesnāt follow you, donāt comment. 5. Stop tagging people. They donāt get notified of the tags anyway. Itās pointless to tag them.

i am labeled a ā1ā aka āmight engage in spammy behaviorā -So i replied to V and asked what a person that doesnāt participate in the activities listed on the github readme is supposed to do to course correct. I doubt i will get a response from him. i asked dan if being labeled a 1 disqualifies you from the rewards leaderboard a day or maybe two ago- he also didnāt/hasnāt replied. With no clear information to point towards what iām ādoing wrongā iām kinda feeling like i should just abandon farcaster entirely.

I donāt even see this on Warpcast. I happened to check Recaster. Are you willing to experiment with me and not do anything on the above list for a couple of weeks and see if the algo changes its mind about you? The team doesnāt see your replies because they donāt get your tag notifications. Iāve asked point blank about rewards and spam labels and been ignored which to me means I hit the nail on the head. A spam label makes you ineligible. @abundance and I manually checked the top 500 and none of them have spam labels.
