yeah agreed, lots of opportunity and will be very interesting to see how it plays out.

I’m kind of torn on how to feel about it. we all know that the network needs to grow beyond its current contours so changes like this are necessary and inevitable.

a really hard pivot to video may cause some text-heavy accounts to reevaluate their ROI vs. building a substack/medium/self-hosted blog and focusing on distribution elsewhere.

some will likely adapt and do some mixtue of video and written content, whereas others will simply leave to find better distribution elsewhere. not sure where I fall on that spectrum.
