On a long enough time horizon they both survive. In the shorter timeframe probably B just by the sheer amount of tokens that are created vs NFTs. More tokens lead to more potential runners, leads to more attention on the category. Liquidity also a factor here.

Technically nothing has died. NFT’s are more commonly used now than they were several years ago. The price for NFT art tanked but it has far more utility use cases than back then. Memecoins are similar in that it’s how they are used rather than a viral effect and then burnout. Depends on what you consider success to be. For me, it’s the utility of the tech that represents its success in the marketplace.
