every time someone pretends to justify a purchase with the potential "resale value" i just assume they are a hoarder and have never even tried to resell anything

"it's a $400 jacket but i can sell it for $200 after a few years" lmao id rather just throw it in the trash than get stood up 9 times, offered $15 twice, answered 100+ inane or unrelated questions, only to ultimately give it to a family member for free
