every time someone pretends to justify a purchase with the potential "resale value" i just assume they are a hoarder and have never even tried to resell anything "it's a $400 jacket but i can sell it for $200 after a few years" lmao id rather just throw it in the trash than get stood up 9 times, offered $15 twice, answered 100+ inane or unrelated questions, only to ultimately give it to a family member for free i won't even re-sell my cars private party anymore, ill get half as much from the dealership right away and if you don't see how that's an incredible win you're prolly ngmi if i move out of my house i will probably burn it down

I'm feeling the "burn it down" urge now... 😄 Yeah, it's crazy how many free pieces of furniture there are on FB marketplace. So many nice things you can barely even give away!
