To me, crypto is a technology and Wall Street is a group of people.

Crypto and Wall Street are the same coin and fund fascism, no?

I don’t think so.

I think it’ll be another movement, but that certain DAO/public goods people will be involved.

I feel like I relate in many ways to Hunter S. Thompson, and not just because of the excessive drug use.

He watched as a movement he cared deeply about crumbled as massive institutions gained a foothold and consumed what was once a vast array of true believers. 

He lamented while those who once held strong convictions succumbed to a sort of Stockholm syndrome and became part of the very machine they sought to destroy. 

Bitcoin’s promise is broken and those who helped build it up are thanking those who have co-opted it and deprived it of its very nature. Its current state is a desecration of Satoshi’s vision. 

But hey, at least we’re all gonna be rich, right?
