I asked my mate Dave how his diet was going. He said, “Brilliant, actually—I’ve switched to a seafood diet.” I said, “Really?” He goes, “Yeah, I see food, and I eat it.” Classic Dave. He also said he joined a gym, but the only thing he’s lifting is the remote. Honestly, I think his Fitbit gave up—it just buzzes to say “good luck” now.

I asked my British mate how he takes his tea. He said, “Very seriously.” Then he proceeded to lecture me on kettle temperatures, milk ratios, and the emotional trauma of over-steeping. I blinked once and somehow learned the Queen’s birthday, the history of Earl Grey, and why you never put the milk in first. Long story short, I still don’t know how he takes his tea… But I’m slightly afraid to make it wrong.🤩 🤩

I told my mate I was getting into shape. He said, “Round is a shape, you know.” Cheeky git. So I joined a gym — went once, pulled a muscle in my pride, and now I just walk past it really fast for cardio. At least now I can say I “run by the gym every day.”
