Asian Skincare (Korean and Japanese) plus The Ordinary Stateside are ridiculously affordable.

Sunscreen is always going to LOOK expensive because American sunscreen has trained us poorly. You need a pea sized amount of Korean or Japanese sunscreen. It’s chemical and should glide over your face easily and you should rub it in. It’s not physical like other sunscreen. But you also have to wash it off differently, aka probably oil/emulsifying cleaners. One small tube I buy in japan lasts me 3 months easily, sometimes 4. I only apply it once a day! If I need to reapply I use a spray. I can usually buy Beauty of Josen (cult favorite sun screen) for $13 a tube on Amazon.
