With all the weirdness going on, I think that it’s a still a time to reply, but I would keep it close with people you follow and who follow you back or uplifting communities (like /success ) who are very friendly and open to new folks. I don’t think this is the right time to cold engage with accounts that don’t follow you. I’d wait a few weeks until the dust settles. The spam label sucks. It’s detrimental to your experience here. If you don’t have the patience to wait, buy FarCards and Hypersubs with gated chats. Hack your way into new groups. But cold replies that aren’t worth their weight in gold will probably been seen in poor light right now.

I don't know what's going on but I've made several legitimate, thoughtful replies to stuff on my feed and it's just crickets. Am I just not cool enough? Do I finally need to sit down and figure out how to do a clique analysis? I'm thinking to calculate the % of times the original caster replies to my reply of them, and then graph that vs the difference between our farscores. So: OC -> me ----> OC How many times does this happen for each "level" of Farscores? My guess is that as the gap between OC and me grows, the % drops.

Also a lot of algo changes. Maybe we are seeing different things as they try to upgrade the home feed experience.

Honestly I thought I have posted some bangers lately and also getting the 🦗 That being said I HAVE been engaging myself less as well, mainly because I’ve been busy with summer stuff, so maybe casting is seasonal?

I think in the last 10 days people are overwhelmed with notifications and probably missing legit things in a sea of noise and not ignoring per se.
