Hank is getting trolled so hard in the comments and it’s so stupid. 

“LLMs are not useless” is not a contentious take. For all my concerns about AI—namely consolidation of power in the hands of a few companies, a continued reduction in critical thinking and critical research, allowing for easy manipulation, and a world which coalesces more towards the productive sameness capitalism already favours—the idea that they aren’t useful is absurd. 

Tech fads based on useless things passes quickly. After all that’s why crypto is largely failing. 😉

Would be cool to see hank spreading knowledge about open source, multipolar, low-power alternatives. Too many people have reactionary attitudes toward AI and it's not productive.

Cancel culture ruins far more than AI ever could

Yeah I don’t follow him but I assume he does or would do that. This was a funny post because it doesn’t say ChatGPT or generative AI, or anything. It just says LLMs don’t suck and can be useful. 

The comments are just dogmatic nonsense full of people saying he’s cancelled now.
