I'm confused. Is doing the quote cast more of a: 
- "I'm helping you get on the leaderboard by quote casting YOUR cast" or is it 
- "Let's switch this convo to MY cast so I can get engagement and a bigger score on the leaderboard"?

I’m doing this mainly to see cool content and get more people to see my content and opinions.  

But about the reward, it’s better if you want to quote someone, to also leave a comment or opinion for that person before quoting them. That way, it feels more fair.

I would add, if someone's quote cast brings useful content to your attention, it's thoughtful to like the original (for content) and to like the quoter (for curation)

that's a lot to ask of people to do, so often people like whatever is made easy for them to like
