I could give ChatGPT the absolutely most horrendous essay and it would still celebrate it and suggest it should win an award. Might actually have to switch LLMs or get a local one so to cure this malaise of affirmation entitlement.

Have been using Venice.ai again and it’s improved enough that I only have to tap chatgpt for o3 stuff. 

Has an uncensored model too and lot of flexibility with system prompts.

It’s a shame how the LLMs have been hollowed out. Seems like users love to be called geniuses

It takes some maneuvering but you can def get it to speak critically 

Usually some combo of “you’re a college professor that speaks directly and pragmatically. Think carefully about your analysis.” + “Be more critical and describe potential issues with logic, structure, formatting, and tone” etc

I’ve found the critiques to be decent but suggestions to be terrible across the board
