Cuomo has conceded. But remember, this was not the mayoral election. That's in (checks notes)... November, at which point disgraced former Democrat governor Andrew Cuomo, may still run, alonside disgraced current NYC Democrat mayor, Eric Adams, both as independents, against Mamdani and Republican candidate Curtis Silwa.

Cuomo's concession marks an end to this primary, but the real battle for New York City's mayoralty begins in November. It'll be interesting to see how the independent candidacies of Cuomo and Adams fare against Mamdani and Silwa.
