And can get into the hypothetical " horrors of communist countries past" But let's be realistic, which right wing back militarized dictatorship that the united states backed up was better than communism? They failed in Indonesia They failed in Latin America They failed in south korea They failed in cambodia They can't even bully two island nations into "freedom" after 60 plus years

I think that's an uncharitable framing One side is "tolerate wealth redistribution to preserve the system", the other is "tolerate the system to preserve wealth redistribution" At the batshit ends, it's "no redistribution" and "no system"
